DarLink AI review 2026: price, languages, and is it worth it?

DarLink AI is an AI companion site for adults 18+ that runs in your browser. Its homepage, checked on October 25, 2026, calls it an “AI girlfriend generator”. You build your own character or pick one published by other users, then chat with it and get photos, voice messages and short videos.

The catalog works much like SpicyChat or CrushOn AI: each character page shows its creator’s username, and you can filter by gender, style and age. The site mentions web and mobile, but no iOS or Android app was linked from it on October 25, 2026, so you use it in the browser.

What the official pages listed on October 25, 2026:

• Character creator: female, male and other options, with six visual styles (Realistic V2, Realistic, Anime, Furry, Fantasy, Cartoon).
• NSFW chat between adults on every plan, within the Terms of Service: legal, consensual content only, no minors, and non-compliant requests blocked automatically.
• Images and videos: an image costs 2 tokens and a video 20 tokens, on every plan.
• Voice: 6 standard voices on Essential, 10 premium voices on Advanced and Ultimate.
• Memory in three tiers depending on the plan: “basic” within a session, “enhanced” across sessions, and “living” memory that evolves over time, according to the company’s FAQ.

These are DarLink’s own descriptions: we aren’t judging image or memory quality here. Several Trustpilot reviews complain that images don’t follow prompts closely and that videos are short (see below).

Images and videos are paid for with tokens. Token packs are sold separately on darlink.ai/tokens, from 100 tokens for $9.99 up to 7,500 tokens for $599.99. The site advertises a free plan and a free trial of the image generator, but no quota was published before login on October 25, 2026.

Only English, as far as the interface goes. On October 25, 2026, darlink.ai showed an English interface only: the page is declared in English, no other language version is listed, and the /fr, /de and /es URLs returned a 404 error. Support is offered in English.

According to its Terms of Service (updated August 2025) and its site footer, DarLink is operated by FameLink SA, a Swiss company based in Montsevelier, in the canton of Jura. For users outside the United States, Swiss law applies, with arbitration by the International Chamber of Commerce in Geneva, conducted in English.

What to know before you pay:

• 18+ only, and accounts can be blocked if there’s any doubt about age.
• Auto-renewal on subscriptions; if you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: purchases and subscriptions are generally final. Exceptions are fraud, a technical or billing error, or termination by DarLink through no fault of yours. The terms mention a possible goodwill refund if you ask within 24 hours and have barely used the service.
• Payment: card for every billing period; crypto for annual plans only, with no auto-renewal.
• Chargebacks: if you dispute a charge with your bank, DarLink reserves the right to share your messages with the bank.
• Content you upload: the terms give DarLink a perpetual, irrevocable license to what you post, including for its marketing.

On October 25, 2026, the Trustpilot page for darlink.ai (claimed in December 2024) showed 2.4/5 from 12 reviews: 58% 1-star, 17% 2-star, 17% 4-star and 8% 5-star. Trustpilot notes that the company doesn’t reply to negative reviews.

Recurring complaints: tokens paid for but never credited and slow support (reviews from October 2026), images that don’t follow prompts closely and short videos, renewals at a higher price than expected, and a cancel option that’s hard to find after signing up with Google. Twelve reviews is a small sample, but they all point the same way on billing.

• Good fit if: you want to build your own character in several styles (realistic, anime, fantasy), and you want chat, images, voice and video in one place.
• Not for you if: you want an interface in a language other than English, an all-in price with no tokens, or a guaranteed refund.
